About 3B.RIO
Established in the mid 70´s, 3B.RIO is one of the biggest car mat and flooring manufacturers in country. Our daily production is of more than 5 thousand car mat sets, serving all of Brazil. The factory is located in the city of Valença, in the south of the state of Rio de Janeiro.
Environmentally Friendly
Fifteen years ago, because of the oil crisis, 3B.RIO changed its main raw material from synthetic rubber, to rubber residues from tire re-treading and nonfunctional tires. It was an important step in favor of the environment. It normally takes about 100 years for used tires, discarded by rivers and lakes, to decompose. Moreover, water trapped in the interior of abandoned tires creates an ideal breeding ground for mosquitoes, some of which could transmit dengue fever to humans. By recycling tires in this way, everyone benefits: consumers, citizens and nature itself.
